Blue Butter

Blue Butter was created to tell a neverending story; of course, I’m sure the chapters will be as unorganized as my  thoughts are on any given day.  Trust me - don’t even try to make sense of it.  I’ve given up.  It’s tiresome, and worse, it’s no fun. 

And quickly, the vital stats are pretty simple: I turned 40 a few weeks ago, I’m divorced and finally believe I’ve got this whole “living like it counts” mentality down to a science.  I have one son who I live and breathe for.  He’s grown, or at least, he’s as grown as my mind and heart will allow, and is living his own amazing life.  My parents are still married and renew my faith in marriage as a whole.  One sister, one brother in law, one nephew and one neice.  That’s it for our immediate family.  We all live within about ten miles from one another in the deep South. 

I believe responsibility taken for our own lives is the best insurance for success and true happiness, I have no patience for those who spend any energy laying blame for any shortcomings in their own lives, I don’t bite my tongue and it’s my sincere belief Blue Bell ice cream (preferably Triple Chocolate) and diet Coke constitute a balanced diet.

I think that pretty much sums up the “About” aspect. 

I hope you’ll find my postings interesting and for what it’s worth, I don’t believe I’m always right - so jump in when you disagree!
